I’m quiet busy these days preparing for the holiday and also helping my sister in their big move. But I can still manage do to some shopping and also making some personalized christmas cards which I intend to distribute to all my friends and relatives all over the world. It is already my Christmas tradition to send them holiday greeting cards to let them know I still remember them. By next week I will be bringing them to the post office since I still have a few to write on. Anyway back to the big move, my brother in law will be working in his company’s branch abroad starting next year. He, my sister and their kids had no choice but to move there. Though they will be moving in February, they already started to get ready. Right now I am helping them to find their new home. I’ve seen some home builders and beautiful new homes at a website and I am just as excited to show them. I will be visiting them sometime this week. After the house, our next task is to find the best school for their kids. It’s kinda hard to move out from the place where you are used to. It’s like giving up what you already have for an all new adventure. I hope the kids will adjust in their new place easily.

Grandpa was as lively as ever when we visited him yesterday for his sixty eight birthday. He had been living with my spinster aunt (my dad’s eldest sister) after grandma died, four years ago. I can remember how he wanted to die as well when grandma was gone. I just admire how much they loved each other. Raising a big family, from their kids to grandchildren, my grandparents never separated. It’s just amazing how they grew old together. True love!
Though it’s saddened me when grandma died and grandpa could not accept what happened, still I salute them. Grandpa has recovered and now still moving on with his life with the help of everyone in the family. The kids played a big role in making grandpa happy. I feel grandpa’s happiness every time I visit him and bring my nieces and nephews with me.
On the day of his birthday, most of us were there to greet him. My aunt prepared lunch and with some older cousins, we prepared party games for the kids. The kids enjoyed so much, as well as my grandfather. Though he would always say he misses grandma. We also gave him some presents. I particularly gave him a pack of cigar his favorite brands and he smiled and thanked me.
