The technology
One of the best things in our generation is being able to be comfortable because of technology. The digital age is more and more complex and so is life, but not necessarily the gadgets we use, in the contrary. Internet has gone a long way too with satellite internet service providers nowadays. Cellphones become smaller and simpler to operate. A good example is the use of mobile phones. Before it’s only for SMS and calls, but now the new mobile phone is a one stop gadget as it is a camera, music and video players, notebook, internet browser and TV.
Before, I was so much into buying and buying of gadgets. I would always have the latest cellphones with the hippest softwares. I would trade in some of my stuff just to get the latest craze in town. I was the happiest when it’s only me who owns a certain gadget. But things have changed lately when I started to realize I was downing into the material world. Yes, it’s true that you have the money, power and the latest gadgets, but at the end of the day, when you are alone in the dark, why are not that happy. I know it’s not bad to be a technology freak bum but we have to learn to put things straight.
