Gadgets today
One of the best things in our generation is being able to be comfortable because of technology. The digital age is more and more complex and so is life, but not necessarily the gadgets we use, in the contrary. They become smaller and simpler to operate. Before, I was so much into buying and buying of gadgets. I would always have the latest phones with the hippest design. I would trade in some of my stuff just to get the latest craze in town. I was the happiest when it’s only me who owns a certain gadget. But things have changed lately when I started to realize I was drowning into the material world. Yes, it’s true that you have the money, power and the latest gadgets, but at the end of the day, when you are alone in the dark, why are not that happy.
I know it’s not bad to be a technology freak bum but we have to learn to put things straight. Like just now, my things were accumulating at my apartment ever since my sister got her things and stuck them at my place. I didn’t have a choice but to let her while she looked for another apartment. Since I also have a lot of things that are not needed, I decided to dispose them at once. I found my old music and video tapes; I wanted to bring them on the garage sale for my friend. My sister stopped me and told me about 8mm tape converter, or tape to dvd transfer which I find so cool. What an invention again to keep the memories of my younger years when I am fascinated in collecting and recording music from my favorite fm radio program and favorite tv shows. I’m excited to work on them soon.
