Bonding time
The title of an article of a broadsheet, “How to be Alone” caught my eye this morning. For me who is a natural loner, I can say that is very easy. I am kinda amazed that there are people who can’t do that. They are always in the company of people maybe because they are always socializing or going out or they may be celebrities or famous people that even alone at some place, people recognizes them and they end up in the company of people.
I love being alone with my nettle tea, peppermint tea or camomile tea because I can do the things for myself. Having time for myself gives me the chance to know myself more. It gives me the chance to evaluate myself, what are really my dreams, what are the things I need to work on, and other things. When I go out alone, I visit the church especially when there are no people around, I talk to God and I also listen to Him. At home, often times, I enjoy more when I am alone bonding with my computer, writing on my blogs, playing computer games and reading inspirational blogs.
Aside from that, I love bonding with my family. Like this afternoon, my mom and I had some bonding moments after work. I promised her that we will be baking a cake so I went home early. When I got home, I was surprised to see my sister joining us. She said her husband was early that afternoon that’s why she can leave the kids with him. My sister and my mom were hands-on during the baking. I was just observing, listening and telling stories. We all had fun spending time together and enjoyed the cake with our favorite tea. Next time we will visit the salon for a girl’s day out and I’m sure we will all be pampered.
