Two of my friends are leaving for abroad this weekend. They got a work contract abroad and will live there for a year. It’s good that offers are still coming despite the global financial crisis. Anyway, I went out last night to meet with them before they leave the country.

Other restaurants were almost full that time so we decided to settle for a pizza and Italian food chain. We were all settled in when another friend joined us. Before eating, I felt I needed to go to the power room. I first approached the sink to wash my hands, and I didn’t know why I removed my two rings before washing, and put them on the sink. Then I felt I needed to pee, so I immediately went inside the cubicle, without putting my rings back. After peeing, I went back to wash my hands but totally forgot about the rings! I went back to our table and ate while chatting with them.

When I got home, it’s the only time that I remembered my rings. I went back to the restaurant the next day but the crew said they didn’t notice any rings on the powder room’s sink. They told me to call if ever they will find my rings though.

How unlucky! Though not given by anyone, those rings were remembrance from my trips abroad. Oh well, I hope they will end up on good hands.

The title of an article of a broadsheet, “How to be Alone” caught my eye this morning. For me who is a natural loner, I can say that is very easy. I am kinda amazed that there are people who can’t do that. They are always in the company of people maybe because they are always socializing or going out or they may be celebrities or famous people that even alone at some place, people recognizes them and they end up in the company of people.

I love being alone once in a while because I can do the things for myself. Having time for myself gives me the chance to know myself more. It gives me the chance to evaluate myself, what are really my dreams, what are the things I need to work on, and other things. When I go out alone, I visit the church especially when there are no people around, when the church is free for prevent prayers. I talk to God and I also listen to Him. At home, often times, I enjoy more when I am alone bonding with my computer, writing on my blogs, playing at computer games, shopping online and reading inspirational blogs.
